In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE En Español, Puerto Rican singer
Noelia talks about her sexually-explicit video which was leaked on the
internet earlier this year. The singer also opens up about overcoming
her addiction to painkillers, and the alleged abuse she suffered from
ex-manager and step- father, Carlos Mamery. According to Noelia, during
2003 and 2004, Mamery forced her to be “intimate” with him, with
threats of ruining her career if she didn’t comply with his advances.
PEOPLE En Español also spoke to Mamery who denies all the allegations,
comparing them to a “Disney fairy-tale.”
